Real twilight is a photograph taken at dusk with the lights on; virtual twilight is a daytime photo with the sky replaced in editing. Real twilight shows genuine lighting and reflections but needs a dusk visit. Virtual twilight needs no visit and costs less, but can look synthetic on detailed exteriors and is labelled as altered.
