Real estate photography in Richmond

Richmond interiors skew bright and new — we expose for the big south-facing windows and deliver the clean, high-key look Richmond buyers expect on MLS.

Realty Studios photographs Richmond listings, from Brighouse and Garden City condo towers to family homes in Broadmoor, Seafair and Terra Nova and heritage and waterfront homes in Steveston. Many Richmond interiors are bright newer builds with large windows, so we expose for the window light and keep rooms clean and true to colour.

Larger lots and farmland parcels, some of them in the Agricultural Land Reserve, are hard to show from the ground, which is where aerials help; drone work here is planned around the controlled airspace of Vancouver International Airport. To book, add the Richmond address and the home’s size online, pick the services and an open slot, and the full price is shown before anything is confirmed.

Richmond listing photography questions

How much are listing photos in Richmond?

Richmond listing photos start at $159.99, read live from the rate sheet that also produces your invoice. The base includes interior space up to 1,883 sq ft, and bigger homes add a per-square-foot amount, so a Brighouse apartment and a large Broadmoor house are each priced by their own size. GST is extra. Compare every service on prices.

Can you photograph a large-lot or farmland property in Richmond?

Yes. A wide exterior set shows the house, outbuildings and approach, and aerial photos show the whole parcel in a way ground shots can’t. Much of Richmond’s farmland lies in the Agricultural Land Reserve, where the land itself is a big part of what a buyer is weighing. The larger drone photo set is designed for bigger lots; see Richmond drone for how airspace is handled.

Can I add drone shots to Richmond photos when the home is near YVR?

You can add drone to the order, but whether we can fly is checked for each address first. Much of Richmond sits in YVR’s controlled airspace, where a flight needs a NAV CANADA authorization decided per flight. Adding drone when you book gives the check the most time, and if we can’t fly, the drone charge is removed. Details on Richmond drone.

Which package suits a Richmond detached home versus a condo?

For a condo, Essentials pairs photos with a 2D floor plan, which covers a standard listing. For a detached home on a larger lot, Signature adds a coloured floor plan and aerial photos, and Premier adds a 3D floor plan, drone video and photos and a cinematic video tour. Every package can be customised, and all are priced by square footage in the booking flow.

Does someone need to be home for a Richmond photo shoot?

No, as long as we can get in. A lockbox, a concierge or a key arrangement all work; pick the access method when you book and add any details. Lockbox codes are encrypted and visible only to the assigned photographer and admin staff. If we can’t get in on the day, we contact you and rebook, and there is no failed-access fee.
